Episode 3 - Ishrat Husain

Dr. Ishrat Husain who is Head of the Clinical Trials Unit and Lead of the Mood Disorders Service at Center for Addiction and Mental Health. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He holds a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Treatment Innovation in Mood Disorders.

Ifetayo Harvey founded the People of Color Psychedelic Collective (POCPC). The POCPC educates and builds community with people of color interested in psychedelics and ending the war on drugs. In 2022, Open Society Foundations named Ifetayo a 2022 Soros Justice Fellow.

Episode 5 - Sabba Nazhand

Sabba Nazhand is a self-made tech executive, investor, and advisor, on a mission to help bring more diverse voices to the psychedelic space through technology and a startup mindset. Sabba immigrated to the US as a child from war-torn Iran and spent his early career building towards a version of the American dream from dabbling in entrepreneurship to leading companies and global teams while living in Hong Kong, London, and NYC.

Nikhita Singhal is a fourth year psychiatry resident at the University of Toronto. Nikhita completed her undergraduate degree and medical training at McMaster University. She is passionate about engaging in advocacy work, empowering individuals with lived experience, and contributing to medical education.

Dennis Walker, otherwise known as the viral sensation Mycopreneur. He was named the Psychedelic Influencer of the Year at the 2022 Entheo Awards and has been featured in Rolling Stone and Forbes.  He is the chief puppeteer at the Psychedelic Puppet Show and has traveled to 75 countries.

Simran Sethi is a multimedia journalist, academic, and founder of the Asian Psychedelic Collective. 
Named one of the “50 Most Influential Global Indians” by Vogue India and the “environmental messenger” by Vanity Fair, Simran has written for outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic, and The Guardian. Her book Bread, Wine, Chocolate: The Slow Loss of Foods We Love—named one of the best food books of 2016 by Smithsonian.
